Supporting Children and Families in the Lehigh Valley's Child Welfare System

Ways to Help

alt=""

Every day, children, teens, and families in our local child welfare system are struggling against the crushing weight of poverty.  You can help by providing them with things that they need—items such as diapers, clothing, shoes, cleaning supplies, school supplies, and hygiene products.

  • Giving to the current list of needs
    • Amazon wish list
    • Ordering something not on the wish list, but on the needs list, from Amazon or elsewhere, shipped to our PO Box
    • Donating something new or gently used and meeting to drop off
  • Giving to re-stock frequently requested supplies
  • Doing a collection drive
  • Requesting a container for a church or business for ongoing donation collection of a particular item
  • Giving a monetary donation—Financial gifts are one of the most powerful ways to strengthen families.  They make it possible to meet urgent requests and to expand the reach of neighbors helping neighbors.  Every dollar goes directly toward creating stability, restoring hope, and ensuring that children and families know that they are not alone.

Want to join the Plesion Stage Crew?

The Stage Crew is made up of individuals who have pledged to donate at least one item each month for one year.  The monthly donation can be anything, from a box of crayons to a bottle of shampoo to a sweatshirt to diapers to a bed.  Consistent giving such as this is critical in helping us reach our goal of seeing that every need is met.
